Overview

Automation Electronics SRTU-121 Wireless Point to Point Control and Monitoring System The SRTU-121 is designed to transfer control and monitoring signals from one point to another without wires.

It is a complete, off-the-shelf package, designed to operate with either 2.4 GHz or 902-928 MHz spread spectrum radios. Analog and digital signals can be transmitted up to 20 miles point-to-point without a license.

The SRTU-121 is designed with Automation & Electronics, Inc. OEM "Simple RTU" board. The basic unit transmits:

  • Six digital inputs and
  • Two 4-20 mA analog inputs

to its companion unit, receiving

  • Four digital outputs,
  • Two high current relay outputs, and
  • Two 4-20 mA isolated analog outputs

in return. The SRTU-121 transmits data both directions, and in the event of a communication failure, develops a communication failure output at each end of the loop. The SRTU-121 is expandable up to 16 digital inputs, 16 digital outputs, 4 analog inputs, and 4 analog outputs.
