Overview

The GT-1420 provides in-line surge protection for the 4-20 mA 24 VDC analog inputs of chart recorders, meters, PLC's, etcetera.

Automation Electronics GT-1420 4-20 mA Analog Loop Surge Protection Module

The analog input signal is protected with a combination of series resistance, a 90 V gas tube, series inductance, and 31 V metal oxide varistor.
