LACT construction begins after the skid floor is fabricated. Here the individual components of the LACT are assembled:
- sales pump and motor
- charge pump
- divert valve
- sales meter
- BS&W monitor
- sample POT
- proving piping, et cetera
Once the LACT hardware is assembled, the walls of the skid are installed. The buildings can be constructed from fiberglass or steel.
Next the skid electrical components such as heater, lights, instrumentation and control system are installed.
