A&E provides open communication systems (A&E FatPipe® SCADA) that grow with your needs. A&E FatPipe SCADA features
include wireless Ethernet systems (802.11 a, b, or g) with user selectable options:
- Extends the corporate network onto field equipment with a graphic interface showing plan or profile views.
- Connect GPS enhanced productivity monitoring systems on mobile equipment to the extended network.
- Provides access to monitoring equipment for qualified vendors for off-site support via VPN connection. A&E MineView
allows remote site personnel to see the screen that the operator is viewing to provide support (requires Microsoft®
Windows® 2000 or Windows® XP operating system).
- Web browser interface to web enabled operator interface packages (Wonderware®, Rockwell, Intellution®,
CygNetTM, etc.) and other Microsoft Windows compatible systems.
- Please consult the factory for real time webcam servers or archived digital video systems. If web enabled monitoring
technology for a system does not already exist, please call A&E Systems Integration Group.
- Power conditioning equipment protects electronics from surges / sags.
- Local caching of location to handle temporary communication interruptions is available for systems with onboard PCs.
Data is automatically transmitted when communications are restored.
- Ergonomic HMI allowing stable, flexible placement with adjustments to avoid glare issues.
- All network security features required by IS departments are supported.
