Overview

The SSOT is designed to piggy-back on the 604SLCR or 608C controller boards.

The SSOT gives each controller board one additional RS-232 or RS-485 serial port. The board has transmit, receive, carrier detect and request to send LEDs. RS-232 signals are brought to a standard RJ-45 8-pin modular jack, while the RS-485 signals are brought to a 3-position pluggable terminal block.
